Solar AutoCAD drafter (Escondido)
Job Description
Duties
-draft photovoltaic plans via AutoCAD for city/county submittal
-draft preliminary designs of photovoltaic systems on commercial and residential roofs via AutoCAD and Google Earth
-collaborate with energy consultants and company president in determining proper photovoltaic system size and design
-determine requirements for photovoltaic plans in various city and county jurisdictions throughout southern California-occasionally drive to various jurisdictions for photovoltaic plan submittal and issuance
Requirements:
-Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro-Preferred 2 years drafting experience and/or 2 years in a bachelor's degree program that utilizes drafting software (i.e., engineering, architecture, etc.)
-Preferred basic understanding of photovoltaic systems
-Preferred basic understanding of residential and commercial electrical services
-Willingness to learn quickly and be a team player-Good communication skills
-Driver's license and a clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
