Our cardiologists have also been pivotal in the launch of breakthrough procedures such as trans catheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and the invention of one of the world’s first coronary stents.Join us as an EP/Cath Lab Recovery RN where you will:· Prep/pre-op patients going into a cathlab/EP lab or CVOR procedure.· Recover patients having either moderate sedation or general anesthesia and returning from:

o Left or Right heart catheterization.

o Peripheral angiogram

o Cardiac ablations

o Pacemaker/ICD implants

o Structural hearts such as:

§ TAVR

§ Mitral Clip

§ Left Atrial Appendage Closure Device

o Interventional Radiology procedures such as:

§ Diagnostic Cerebral Angiogram

§ Biopsies

§ Port placement

§ Spinal Procedures

o CVOR patients such as thoracotomies, sternal wire removal, and laser lead extractions.· Assist in noninvasive procedures such as:

o TEE/CV

o Loop implants

o TILT Table Testing· Manage vascular access sites with close monitoring in the post-procedure arena· Management of radial bands and Femostops· Pull venous and Arterial Sheaths· Titrate vasoactive gttsThis is a full time12 hour varied shift position with benefits.Required:

Current CA RN License

One (1) year of PCU, ICU, Procedural IR or Cathlab, or PACU experience.

BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Must have experience with radial bands, groin management, and Femostops

Must have experience with care of the critical cardiac patient and care of the post cardiac surgical/procedure patient

Preferred:

Prep and Recovery experience

Knowledge of patient focused care delivery

Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

What You Need to Know Clinical Leadership and Compliance: Supervises day-to-day clinical and office operations. Is available to staff and patients during hours of operation.
