We're a casual and enjoyable neighborhood spot that offers great food and service in a relaxed & friendly environment. We're looking for an awesome Front of House Shift Lead to help our great team. In this position, you will be working directly with the owners and kitchen managers.
General Description:
A Front of House Shift Lead is a working server/beer-tender who assists with the general operations of the front of house service. They will interact with customers, take orders, run food, clear tables, pour beers, and do side work. Additionally, this position also updates the menu and POS as beers change and breaks down the cash drawer at the end of the day. They are the point of accountability for that shift.

- Strong craft beer knowledge
- Strong POS skills (we use Toast)
- Cash handling skills
- Attention to detail / ability to multitask
- Computer/POS literate
- Flexibility with schedule when needed
- Reliable and dependable
Responsibilities:
- Provide great customer service to guests and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain cleanliness & organization of FOH areas & storage
- Maintain beer menu & keg inventory on POS & relevant computer applications
- Communicate important information to management / maintain daily shift log
- Understanding of general profitability of the restaurant
- Cash management
- Daily cash deposit
- Daily cash drawer deposit & setting the register for next day
- Weekly cash deposit
- New hire training (not very often)

- Identifying areas of improvement for service
- Identifying areas of improvement for profit
- Ability for Scheduling FOH
Schedule is flexible:
3-5 shifts per week
Latest exit time is 10:30pm
Pay:
$20 / hr + Tips
approx. $36+ / hr
