What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a long term, self-motivated leader that will promote a culture of respect, integrity, hard-work, and compassion for fellow co-workers and customers. The Shift Lead is the first point of contact for guests and managers.
Requirements include:
-At least 1 year in a shift leader position
-Previous coffee/barista experience
-Open availability including weekends and holidays, looking for long term employment

Responsibilities:
-Executes quality openings and closings, troubleshoots issues and demonstrates pride in our business .
-Acts as Leader at all times, ensuring our service standards and values are met.
-Champions the ongoing spirit of development and professional growth across the team.
-Supports a culture that attracts, retains and develops the highest quality Baristas.
-Train/ coach new employees
-Address customer and employee complaints or issues.
-Carry out all duties of a Barista position
-Be reliable and punctual
-Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
-Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
-Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Ability to build relationships.
-Demonstrates that customers come first by serving them with a sense of urgency.
-Provides consistent quality in the preparation of drinks and brewing of coffee and tea.
-Maintains a clean and well-stocked store.
-Carry a friendly, energetic, personable demeanor and have a passion for great customer service, with a customer-first mentality.
-Be able to work quickly, embrace and learn new information, multi-task and incorporate feedback into personal performance.
-We rely on social media to get our business seen all around, therefore, you must be willing to take on learning our ways and be willing to post if we ask you too. No fancy training needed, personal experience is just fine.
-Hours range from 6:30am to 4:30pm. Shifts are a full 8 hours.
Olive Café is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
