Harvest Kitchen is a high-end, successful organic event catering company based in North County San Diego. We cater in Palm Springs, Joshua Tree and Indio nearly every weekend and need some local amazing FOH Captains to join our team to help execute flawlessly!

We are currently hiring for a FOH Captain.The main purpose of a FOH Captain is to supervise the staff, operations, and guests at an event. They are responsible for communicating all information from the event lead (example: wedding planner) to Harvest Kitchen’s kitchen and FOH team. This position requires meeting at our prep kitchen in Vista, CA, driving a company van, and unloading that van at the end of each event. The events could be in San Diego County or the Desert. The shifts range between 8-14 hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead team of event Chefs and Servers, ensuring beautiful plating
Read the BOE/Job sheet and menu
Assist the Kitchen Manager in loading event into vans
Driving the company van to and from the event
Events are typically Saturday from 1p-11p
Arriving on-time & in uniform
SKILLS
A creative chef with an amazing palate, humble and willing to learn from others
Passionate about using organic, local, seasonal ingredients
Meticulous, and pay close attention to details
A great driver with a clean record, not afraid to drive a food truck
Must have experience leading a team of servers and chefs
Serving/Hosting or hospitality experience
A team player with a super positive, calm attitude, who can inspire and lead
Valid driver's license, Ability to lift up to 30lbs

Hourly rate is $25/hr, tips are paid on a biweekly paycheck. Eligible for overtime
SCHEDULE
We post shifts three months out. Shifts are available to be picked up throughout the week. HK will not set a schedule for you, but will request you to work if needed.
