We are a growing catering/meal prep company seeking a Chef to join our small team! You will assist in the preparation, cooking, and packaging of meals in our professional kitchen. Must be interested in learning new techniques and following standard operating procedures. Reliable transportation is mandatory, we do have different venues across SD for events. This is an entry level position starting at $22/hour, with opportunity for quick growth into kitchen management / Sous Chef for the right person.
Responsibilities:
Follow standard recipes and special orders
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
Washing dishes and cleaning daily
Qualifications:
Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well in teams
Willing to work hard in a fun environment
