Experienced Baker
We’re looking for a skilled baker with at least 6 months of experience in a commercial kitchen to join our growing team.
You’ll work alongside our Head Baker to craft beautiful, high-quality pastries and desserts made with care.
Responsibilities:
Must be available for Saturday & Sunday early morning shifts (starting at 5:00 AM).
Prepare and bake a variety of products following The Cakery’s recipes and standards.
Collaborate with the team to develop and execute new desserts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen.
Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Baker Assistant (No Experience Required)
If you’re passionate about baking and eager to learn, this is a great place to start!
Our Head Baker will train you to grow into a full baker role.
Responsibilities:
Support the baking team with daily prep and production tasks.
Assist in ingredient preparation and scaling.
Wash pans, dishes, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
Prepare pans, de-pan cakes, and store them properly.
Help maintain a pristine kitchen and studio environment.
Dishwasher (Weekend Only)
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday
Maintain cleanliness of baking tools, pans, and equipment.
Compensation
Experienced Bakers: Starting at $18.00–$19.00/hr (based on experience)
Baker Assistants: Starting at $17.25/hr
Dishwashers: Starting at $17.25/hr
Pay increases every 6 months based on performance
Part-time positions available, with potential to grow into full-time.
Schedule
Must be available for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (extra pay provided)
Qualifications
At least 6 months of experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery (for Experienced Baker role)
Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle moderate physical activity
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for The Cakery’s products and mission
Food Safety Certification (preferred, can obtain before start)
