Position: Head of Housekeeping & Customer Service
Location: San Diego, California
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage our housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Develop and implement housekeeping standards and procedures to maintain cleanliness and uphold our brand reputation.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all vacation rental properties meet our high cleanliness standards.
Coordinate with property managers to schedule cleaning services and ensure timely turnovers between guest stays.
Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that housekeeping staff have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
Train and mentor housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain attention to detail.
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and reservations, to address any guest concerns or special requests.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our housekeeping operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the housekeeping department, preferably in the vacation rental or hospitality industry.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and property managers.
Familiarity with San Diego and its surrounding areas is a plus.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
