Please note that this is primarily a Bar prep position with the possibility of cross-training for Kitchen prep, depending on performance & prior experience.
PREP
Job Responsibilities
- Follow all prep recipes & instructions accurately and with attention to detail, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- Efficiently prep syrups, infusions, cocktail batches, cocktail garnishes and other bar ingredients.
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
- Accurately receive orders upon delivery, and neatly put away all product in an organized fashion.
- Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
- Handle and store ingredients and food
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
- Set up workstations & bar wells with required ingredients and equipment
- Operate kitchen equipment such as induction burners, knives, broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
Experience and Requirements:
- Prior experience as a restaurant line cook, prep cook, or bartender preferred.
- Available mornings/afternoons (9am-4pm)
- Team player who has an attention to detail.
- Able to lift up to 25-50lbs on a regular basis.
