Claytons Bakery is located on the Coronado Island and we pride ourselves on serving an amazing and delicious array of baked goods, cakes and confections. Come learn the ropes of the food and beverage industry at our fast-paced gourmet bakery! If you are good with people, responsible, and have a strong work ethic, we will teach you the rest.
JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods such as bread, pastries, and desserts
- Decorate pastries as needed
- Package finished products for display or sale
- Ensure all food products meet quality standards
- Assist with catering orders and special requests
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in food production and baking techniques
- Proficiency in using kitchen tools including knives and baking equipment
-Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and
other equipment
- Knowledge of cake decorating is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
-Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels
-Taking client information and ensuring that deliveries are fulfilled accurately and on
time
-Cleaning, restocking workstation, and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and
prepared for the next shift

Requirements to be on our Baking Team:
Must have Food Handlers Certification or willing to obtain prior to start
Flexible/open availability
18 years and older preferred (Due to industrial mixer)
Basic math and computer skills
Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, weekend, and
holiday availability
Stand, walk, bend, use hands, appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods
