Chua Plastic Surgery is an aggressively growing plastic surgery practice specializing in aesthetic, hand, craniofacial, and wound surgery. Lead by our founder, Dr. Charleston Chua, we have locations in both Las Vegas, NV and San Diego, CA. Of note, this position will be in La Jolla, San Diego, CA.
We are looking to add a highly motivated and energetic Medical Assistant/Patient Care Coordinator to our support staff, who will coordinate with Doctors and administrative staff to ensure a pleasant and welcoming experience for our existing and prospective clients. Duties:
Enhance office reputation by greeting and accommodating to patients and visitors
Manage and control scheduling calendars to optimize flow for Doctors and Providers
Manage patient records and adhere to patient concerns
Provide office support by inputting data, proofreading documents, and maintaining files
Ensure availability of treatment / procedure information, supplies and equipment
Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, medical instruments and/or equipment
Keeps confidentiality of information as per company policy
Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Must be professional and courteous at all times
Excellent customer service skills, friendly and energetic
Must be efficient and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience with additional bonuses based on aesthetic surgery sales.
Schedule: Typically, three 8-hour shifts in office per week. Remaining 16 hours per week can be working remotely. Expected to answer the rare call after hours without ever any need of returning to office.
