We are a young, growing, general practice dental office in the wonderful 4S Ranch area of San Diego. We take pride in providing high quality dental work in a friendly environment. We have an amazing team and are currently looking for a Registered Dental Assistant. Hours are 8-5pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with one Monday and one Wednesday a month. We are hoping to find the right candidate who can bring lots of energy and optimism to our patient-driven practice!
Qualifications include:
Previous experience with dental assistance preferred though not required
Proficient in paperless charts, digital x-rays, polishing, alginate impressions, restorative procedures, provisional crowns, basic oral surgery, basic endodontic procedures, Invisalign procedures.
Excellent customer service skills
Must be a strong team player and have good coordination with co-workers
Well-organized and strong work ethic
Good computer skills – Open Dental knowledge is a plus
Daily tasks include:
Anticipate and assist dentist in performing clinical procedures
Keep dental units ready, stocked, and clean
Carry out expanded functions and other tasks assigned by the dentist
Monitor inventory and order dental office supplies as needed
Sterilize all instruments and handpieces according to OSHA regulations
Assist receptionist in administrative work as needed (scheduling, answering phone calls, greeting visitors, managing recall systems)
Salary offered will be dependent on interview and experience.
