San Diego Powder and Protective Coatings is a fast paced, dynamic company serving a variety of products from civilian and military customers.
Hours of operation: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm (4-10 hr days) Overtime when needed on Friday and or Saturday
Compensation depends on experience; $18-22 hr
Responsibilities and Duties
Description:
Fire watching during hot work operations
Cleaning and or prepare work sites for installation projects
Sanding, masking and hanging product
Assist in loading/unloading of materials, machinery and tools
General Housekeeping as required
Assist in setting up work area, including equipment
Qualifications and Skills
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to obtain clearance to work on Naval Bases, we will send in paperwork for you
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to read and write in English
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Experience with small hand & power tools
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
Occasionally sit, climb or balance
Working safely on a construction job site
Must be able to work in outside weather conditions (hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions)
Climbing stairs to high locations/ working on scaffolding & ladders 12' high
