Position: Grounds Specialist (Cemetery)
Job Responsibilities:
Perform groundskeeping and maintenance tasks at cemetery and funeral home locations.
Mow grass, plow snow, water lawns, fertilize, trim shrubs, and tend flower beds to maintain impeccable standards.
Operate lawn and grounds equipment such as mowers, blowers, and trimmers with precision and care.
Participate in interment, entombment, and inurnment procedures as part of a dedicated team.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines, including OSHA standards.
Assist in minor repairs and maintenance of cemetery and building systems.
Maintain inventory and adhere to federal and state cremation regulations as required.
Backhoe Experience!
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
Physically agile and able to work in extreme weather conditions.
Proficient in operating hand-held tools and equipment.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Basic computer skills for email communication and record-keeping.
Compensation:
Salary: $17.00/hr. - $20.70/hr.
