Over the past 10 years, McKinney's Pool Service has been servicing San Diego residents, providing them with quality swimming pool service and great customer care! As a McKinney's Pool Service technician, you will be part of a high-tech and employee-centered company. The most valuable asset in this company is YOU, the technician.
Our part-time (potentially full-time) Swimming Pool Technician will be responsible for maintaining all the pools on your route, including: balancing water chemistry, pool cleaning, and monitoring pool equipment and systems.
Repair Technicians will be assigned daily repair and installation orders. Repair techs will need to know how to diagnose mechanical errors, install pumps, filter & heaters, and have familiarity with the automation systems.
Experience is great, but we are happy to train if you are the right fit for our team and company culture. (Repair technicians will need to have at least two years experience.)

This is a great position for someone who's interested in being independent, loves working outside, and doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands wet!
HOURS & COMPENSATION:
This part-time position will start out at 20-30 hours per week, Mon-Fri and occasionally Sat.
Pay range is $18-25/hr, depending on experience and ability to learn quickly. Both hours & pay will grow as you grow.
Proven Maintenance Technicians will eventually be tasked with higher paying responsibilities, such as filter cleans, motor repairs, equipment installation, or even management.
A company vehicle is provided, so you'll need a valid CA driver's license and clean driving record. All chemicals and gas for completing your route are provided.
You will need to be able to lift 50 lbs, bend squat, and spend a lot of time on your feet.
Because we are a high-quality company, drug testing and a background check is mandatory.
