Position: Legal Assistant
Location: San Diego, California
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $20-$23 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Legal Assistant. This is a full-time position with responsibilities that include interacting with clients, negotiating bills and health insurance liens, scheduling appointments, filing and mailing documents, and keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients via phone, providing updates and addressing inquiries
Negotiate bills and health insurance liens on behalf of clients
Schedule client appointments and maintain the calendar for legal professionals
Handle filing and mailing of legal documents
Update clients regularly on the status of their cases
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in computer usage, including Microsoft Outlook and Word (minimal Excel skills required)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
