The Pennypacker Assistant Manager is a member of the crew but should be the most
knowledgeable on the production process and daily goals. They are responsible for
monitoring the workflow of the production and communicating issues to management.
He/she directly reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
ESSENTIALS DUTIES:
First line of communication for the staff for production purposes
Maintains production and cleaning logs
Essential to trouble shoot what potential issues for output: tooling, hopper volume, speed, adding support positions like popper etc.
Train and motivate both new and existing employees
Helps the PICs to meet their individual room goals but effectively communicating and providing support as needed.
Second set of eyes for food safety, ingredient and machinery quality
Ensures safety of employees and product are always the top priority
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED IN:
Food production is a must
General machinery and maintenance knowledge is a plus
Food Safety and Organic Certification knowledge a plus
SUPERVISOR POSITION:
The support position is a supervisor position with approximately 20 staff that look to this position for support
