American Marble, a well-established natural stone, quartz, and solid surface manufacturing company, has been a leader in Southern California for over 35 years. We specialize in high-end commercial and residential projects, offering top-tier fabrication and installation services. We're looking for an experienced facilities maintenance worker who is dedicated to maintaining our high standards of quality and craftsmanship to join our team.
Essential Functions:
Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as needed.
Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Able to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks necessary to bring areas to standard.
1+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role preferred.
Strong electrical and mechanical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair warehouse equipment.
Salary and Benefits Package:
DOE – Depending on Experience
Full-time, non-exempt
Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift
