Position Overview
As Production Floor Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day operations on the integration / assembly floor. You will manage workflow, monitor quality, coordinate with integration staff, and ensure that production goals are met with fidelity to process and standards. This role is a blend of leadership, hands-on involvement, and process enforcement.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of integration / assembly staff, ensuring proper staffing, assignments, and shift coverage
Monitor workflow across stations: balance workloads, sequence tasks, and avoid bottlenecks
Track production metrics (throughput, cycle times, yield, rework) and take corrective action when needed
Enforce quality standards, inspect work in process, identify defects or process deviations, and coordinate corrective actions
Be hands-on when necessary: assist integration staff, step in to resolve issues, coach technical tasks
Review and maintain build documentation, process flows, work instructions, and job travelers
Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, housekeeping, and manufacturing policies
Facilitate communication between integration teams, quality, engineering, materials, and management
Lead training, mentoring, and performance review of assigned staff
Hold regular shift meetings / huddles to review performance, issues, priorities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean, 5S, waste reduction) on the floor

Required Qualifications & Experience
Prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or integration environment (2–5+ years preferred)
Direct experience working with integration / system assembly operations (wiring, cabling, component assembly)
Strong process awareness: ability to read and enforce work instructions, routing sheets, and flow charts
Solid understanding of quality control principals and defect mitigation
Comfortable being on the floor, hands-on, and in the trenches alongside staff
Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze production data, identify trends, and drive corrective action
High attention to detail and drive for consistency

Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience in defense, aerospace, or ruggedized electronics manufacturing
Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, root cause / corrective action methods
Knowledge of build execution systems, MES, or shop floor software
Technical skills with basic hardware, cabling, and integration testing
