Production Planner Requirements:
3–4 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within manufacturing
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and Microsoft Excel
Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities
Understanding of manufacturing workflows from engineering through shipping
Production Planner Responsibilities:
Provide regular status updates on projects and shop activities
Serve as the communication point between project managers and other departments
Attend weekly production and project management meetings, plus bi-weekly sequence update meetings
Track customer service sales orders and update item status reports
Coordinate with purchasing on delivery dates for third-party items and adjust schedules as needed
Anticipate timelines, identify potential delays, and make quick, informed decisions to meet deadlines
Communicate sequence or schedule changes to all stakeholders
Investigate and resolve issues to keep projects moving forward
