We currently have an opportunity in our master welder position.
About the Position…
- 3-10 years experience welding and fabricating minimum.
- Be personable and professional
- Possess coachable mindset and problem solving skills
- Must pass a drug screening test
- Possess a valid CA issued driver’s license
- Be positive, disciplined, and motivated
-The Welder Fabricator is a key player in our company responsible for fabricating our architectural steel windows and door projects.
-Must be coachable to the direction of our Lead Welder, and to understand and interpret production drawings and shop orders.
-4+ Years of Experience with MIG welding.
-Fine attention to detail and artisan craftsmanship with less than a 5% error rate, and can work with minimal supervision.
-Ideal experience with windows and doors.
Your Background…
-Measurement skills needed to measure up to 1/32 of an inch.
-Need to pass OSHA welding test.
-Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control.
-Good math skills.-Education requirements: GED preferred
-Physical demands: lifting material up to 30-50 lbs required to move materials around the shop
-Environment: Subject to loud noise and hazards of moving parts, vehicles, electricity, chemicals and high heat
