Administrative Assistant for a small HOA office.

Compensation: $18/hour to start, with potential increase after 30 days as your skills are assessed.

Employment type: part time (no benefits)

Job title: Administrative Assistant

Prior HOA experience a plus!

Must pass a basic background check

Looking for someone that takes pride in their work

Answer occasional phone calls, return any voice mails and emails daily

Retrieve postal mail daily

Excellent data entry skills/computer skills

Assist in meeting with occasional vendors

Communicate and coordinate with HOA vendors as needed.

Prepare mailings to owners via email & letters as needed.

General clerical duties and computer skills

Provide administrative support to HOA Board of Directors

Must have;

excellent business judgment skills, including but not limited to, identifying and escalating issues of problem resolution.

excellent verbal and written communication skills with a varied population of people. Ability to communicate effectively.

Proficient and accurate typing skills, excellent spelling, punctuation and grammatical skills.

Excel spreadsheet skills.

Ability to provide advanced customer service techniques, including but not limited to, dealing with occasional conflict and calming upset owners.

Can handle confidential matters discreetly and professionally.

Demonstrate initiative and proactive thinking by anticipating needs and taking appropriate actions.

Strong ability to multi-task and successfully work with changing priorities when needed.

Has strong interest in HOA/Property Management and/or past experience and skill set to contribute to our goal of achieving higher level of efficiency and organization.

Strong time management skills.

Ability to think through and apply information to consider alternate approaches to a challenge presented to complete a project or task.

The ability to pay attention to detail to ensure that high quality work is always delivered.

Basic accounting skills for coding monthly HOA expenses, such as invoices.

Logging monthly HOA dues received from owners via postal mail or office drop box.

Create work orders for Handyman upon approval.

Shift is part time 9am-1pm; Mon-Fri
