Position Summary
Provide excellent customer service in answering all outside telephone calls from the public and refugees who require assistance. Assist the public and refugees who walk into the reception area at Alliance. The receptionist in many cases is the first point of contact for refugees and the public, and must provide a can-do attitude; helping everyone with excellent customer service.
Description of duties
Assist all refugees and the public with their telephone calls to Alliance and walk-in questions or appointments with staff.
Advertise via computer all new positions.
Procure all stationary supplies for staff.
Complete other assignments from management as directed.
Qualifications
Have completed two year of JC, at least or equivalent experience working as a receptionist.
Experience working as a receptionist.
Excellent computer skills necessary.
Exceptional customer service skills necessary in assisting community members including refugees from different cultural backgrounds.
Bilingual preferred, Farsi, Pashto, or African languages.
