Small steel company located in Spring Valley is seeking a part time administrative assistant.
Overview: Responsible for general office duties with great organizational skills, multi task oriented is a MUST, and motivated to learn. Must have basic accounting skills . Bilingual helpful, but not a must. Support for President, account manager & estimators. Knowledge of Quickbooks Enterprise is a plus. Construction office experience preferred. Monday thru Friday.
Tasks:
· Answering phones with friendly/professional attitude, transfer to the appropriate associate or take and distribute accurate messages
· Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person
· Receive, sort and process incoming mail
· Monitor incoming emails and respond or forward as required
· Fax, scan and copy documents as needed
· Maintain/Create spreadsheets is a MUST
Maintain logs and schedule maintenance for company vehicles & equipment rentals
· Providing support to the President, accounting Department & project managers
· Monitor, maintain supply room in an organized manner. Order office and shop supplies
· Performs other duties as assigned
· Maintain filing, and database systems
