Barona Gaming Commission, a respected leader in the Tribal Gaming Regulatory industry, is seeking enthusiastic, success-oriented candidates to join our Compliance team. As a Compliance Officer, you will help to protect the continued integrity of Tribal Gaming and play a crucial role in ensuring the adherence to federal, state, and tribal gaming regulations, policies, and procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that all gaming devices comply with approved technical standards
Ensuring compliance with gaming device minimum internal control standards for Class II and Class III gaming equipment
Ensuring all game software complies with manufacturer PAR sheets and certification letters
Ensuring compliance to operational policies and procedures through observation and document examination
Knowledge and Skills
The ideal candidate for this position is seeking a new career path in a team-oriented environment, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, is able to take direction, follow instructions, and work independently. You are able to multi-task, have good organizational skills, and can easily adapt to change.
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent in required. While familiarity with Tribal gaming is plus, it is not required. Ideal experience includes a proven track-record of valuing team-work, confidentiality, and punctuality, and a desire to begin a fun and rewarding career in Tribal regulatory compliance.
Hours: Varies; however, at this time vacancies are available for Swing (2PM to 10PM) and Grave (10PM to 6AM) shifts.
