Apartment Maintenance Technician for several apartment complexes in Vista and Fallbrook. Seeking licensed individual to complete work orders, turnovers, and other required tasks.
About the Position:
Complete work orders and turnovers independently
Meet all time expectations set by superintendent
Perform routine preventive maintenance
Plumbing - Electrical - Carpentry - Appliance Repair
Painting and Drywall patching as needed
Maintain material and supply inventory
Plumbing: repair, replace or install faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets,
garbage disposals, dishwashers, water-dispensing refrigerators, or washing machines
Electrical: repair, replace or install power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, thermostats and heaters.
Drywall repair: fill holes caused by nails, minor dings from normal wear and tear most commonly performed between the time a tenant vacates a unit and a new renter assumes occupancy or larger holes caused by damage and water damage
Painting: minor touch-ups following damage repair to new coats of paint applied to unit walls in between residents
Appliance repair: repair, replace or install household appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, range ovens, washers and dryers, and hot water tanks
Preventative maintenance: perform maintenance to heating, plumbing fixtures, sprinkler system, smoke detector and fire extinguishers
Health and safety maintenance (such as sprinkler systems or smoke detectors)
Install locks
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in apartment communities or hotel maintenance. Open to handyman experience
-Experience with maintenance tools and equipment
-Access to personal hand tools + power drill
-Ability to handle physical workload
-Deadline and detail-oriented
Pay: $25-$40 per hour (Depending on Experience)
May include housing allowance.
