Maintenance Technician, with strong plumbing skills, needed for a property management company located in Pacific Beach. Duties include performing residential maintenance repairs and minor remodel work on residential properties. This is a full-time roving technician position offering health benefits and paid time off. You must have your own truck or cargo van, a clean driving license, and your own tools.
Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour (negotiable DOE)
+ $400 per month vehicle allowance
Must have the knowledge and ability to perform the following duties:
1.) Must have plumbing skills to repair and replace faucets, repair and replace toilets, install sinks, install garbage disposals, install drain lines, 'sweat copper pipe' for installing angle stops and valves for water lines, clear drain lines and stoppages, repair and replace water heaters.
2.) General electrical skills -must be able to troubleshoot electrical problems, replace outlets and switches, breakers, and install light fixtures and LED light cans.
3.) Repair/replace screens and window coverings.
4.) General carpentry repairs - repair fences, cabinet doors, hang and plane doors, install windows.
5.) Must be able to perform minor paint touch-ups.
6.) Experience in replacing sheet vinyl or installing vinyl-planking flooring
7.) Ability to troubleshoot and repair appliances and wall furnaces a plus.
Time will consist of completing tenant requested work orders in a timely and efficient basis.
MUST HAVE
1. Your own tools to get the job done
2. Your own reliable daily work vehicle, such as a truck or cargo van.($400 vehicle allowance provided).
3. A working knowledge of iPhone (company iPhone will be provided).
4. Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
5. Must be able to read, write and communicate and follow instructions in English.
Starting $27.00 - 28.00/hr, plus employee benefits:
