About the Role:
We’re looking for a seasoned journeyman (10+ years) to install and service electric and non-electric signs. We are growing so we will have more installs as things progress. May be great for independents (must have C-45) or for older professionals seeking skilled, flexible work.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair illuminated and non‑illuminated signs (channel letters, cabinet signs, vinyl, banners, dimensional letters)
Safely operate a bucket truck for elevated work (up to 50 ft)
Read and interpret job specifications, blueprints, measurements
Handle electrical troubleshooting: LED/fluorescent wiring, voltage testing
Site prep (removing old signs, surface prep, paint) and cleanup
Communicate with clients/team; uphold strict safety and quality standards
Requirements:
10+ years sign installation/service experience, both electric and non-electric
Solid construction or general contracting experience a plus
Bucket truck proficiency (certification?)
Valid driver’s license and clean record
Ability to lift heavy signage, climb, and work at heights
Preferred but Not Required:
OSHA safety training or certification
Familiarity with permitting, electrical codes, neon or low-voltage signage
