Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Prevailing Wage Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with all relevant DIR and DOL regulations. Uploading weekly Certified payroll in payroll portals like LCP Tracker, E-mars and the DIR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Construction Prevailing wage, wage determinations and compliance, and familiarity with payroll software such as Foundation.
Duties:
- Process weekly payroll for 50+employees accurately and in a timely manner.
- Matching all Dailies with time cards.
- Reporting all Certified payroll in appropriate Portals. LCP Tracker, E-mars the DIR etc.
- Making sure all Fringe benefits are pulled and paid correctly to the appropriate organizations.
- Utilize payroll software systems like Foundation.
- Weekly submission of Pension and 401K.
- Knowledge of Travel Pay.
- Knowledge of Base pass submission, D-bids is a MUST. .
- Compliance for our subcontractors with COI, SF1413 and their certified payroll etc.
- Yearly Audits and running all job reports for the owners.
Skills:
- Strong payroll entry skills with high accuracy
- Strong certified payroll knowledge for Prevailing Wage jobs.
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll and benefits
- Familiarity with human resources processes, Wage Garnishment
- Strong follow up for all compliance and D-Bids related tasks.
