Recruitment Announcement – Lead Carpenter

Fast-growing San Diego design-build remodeling company is seeking an ambitious, skilled, and dependable Lead Carpenter. This is more than just a position — it’s the start of a long-term professional partnership.

We pride ourselves on precision, loyalty, and innovation. Our projects range from custom decks and patios to full outdoor living environments and remodels. We operate with military-level discipline and family-like teamwork, delivering state-of-the-art craftsmanship that sets us apart in the industry.

What We’re Looking For

A licensed carpenter in California (preferred) — but we are open to working with someone without a license if they can prove their skill and reliability at the highest standards.

Minimum of 5 years of carpentry or construction experience (outdoor remodeling preferred).

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Ownership of professional tools, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

Willingness to grow beyond the field — into supervision, management, and eventually partnership.

Why This Role is Different

This is not just a job. We are looking for someone who wants to build a career, a reputation, and eventually their own company. As Lead Carpenter, you’ll start in field operations, then have the opportunity to grow into supervision, construction management, and VP-level production leadership. Long-term, we want to mentor the right candidate to own and run their own business with our backing.

Responsibilities

Lead field operations on outdoor remodeling and construction projects.

Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Manage crews and subcontractors with discipline and integrity.

Train, mentor, and build up team members.

Maintain strict safety standards in line with California regulations.

Compensation & Growth

- $22–39 per hour DOE (part-time to start, with growth to full-time).

- Additional training, mentorship, and leadership development provided.

- Clear path from employee → supervisor → manager → executive → partner/owner.

Application Process

- Email us using “Lead250912” in your subject line.

- Include 3 references and salary history.

- No calls, save questions for interview.

- Must pass background check, drug test, and reference verification.

Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). Licensed applicants encouraged to apply. Exceptional unlicensed candidates will be considered under California standards if they can prove ability and meet compliance.
