Job description
We are hiring a Sign Installer and manufacturer. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in sign production/installation.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with fabricators in the field.
Inspect signs for defects before shipment or installation.
Assist in surveying and preparing installation sites.
Prepare necessary hardware and equipment for installation.
Remove old signage and prepare mounting surfaces.
Perform various signage installations (wall-mounting, hanging, raceway installation, vinyl application, etc.) based on project requirements.
Use tools like saws, drills, and rivet guns.
Mount interior and exterior signage on walls or substrates.
Follow assembly and installation instructions precisely.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures during preparation and installation.
Install signage in strict compliance with work orders.
Perform quality control inspections.
Qualifications:
Installation experience in a Sign Shop environment preferred.
Proficient in hands-on work, measuring, and cutting materials; working with tools to job specifications.
Able to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints.
Comfortable working at heights.
Preferred knowledge of electrical wiring.
Attention to detail.
Familiarity with fabrication equipment, tools, and hardware
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule: 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate: San Diego, CA 92110: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
