Job Title: Venue Maintenance Assistant
Location: Oceanside, CA
Schedule: Thursday through Monday (Tuesday and Wednesday Off)
Hours: Standard hours on non-event days; 4 PM to 12 AM on event days

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Venue Assistant to join our team and help maintain the beauty and functionality of our property.
Job Description: The Venue Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our wedding venue. This position involves a mix of maintenance work and event support, ensuring that the venue is always in top condition and that events run smoothly. Possible Management position for qualified candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily maintenance of the 15-acre outdoor venue, including landscaping, cleaning, and general upkeep.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, including moving and arranging chairs, tables, and other event equipment.
Ensure that the venue is properly secured and closed at the end of each event.
Work closely with the event coordination team to execute event setups according to specifications.
Address any maintenance issues promptly and effectively to maintain the venue's high standards.
Provide on-site support during events, helping to ensure a flawless experience for guests.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in event setup, maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the venue’s pristine condition.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work night shifts on event days and more standard hours on non-event days.
Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to our venue.
