We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting construction material from our warehouse to various job sites while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport material to designated locations.
- Load and unload construction material, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit.
- Perform picking and packing duties within the warehouse as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking orders and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations within the distribution center.
- Assist in fabricating or assembling products when necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and in the warehouse.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
- Familiarity with inventory control practices and order picking techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in deliveries and inventory management.
- Must be atleast 19 years old and have a clean driving record.
- Be able to pass Government background checks for delivery protocols.
