Description Perform day-to-day accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors as an Accounting Clerk at Robert Half. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), general data entry, and matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers. Patch up discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required
General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
Help Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
Broadcast financial information to journals and ledgers
Produce statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources
Collaborate with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance
Order documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes Requirements - Less than one year of experience preferred
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office
navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience
Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience preferred
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
