The firm gets capital from family offices and instructional investors who want to invest in real estate that is high yielding and has lower risk.The Role:

The team is 10-15 people all together and growing.

3 Funds have been raised and are active, approximate AUM is between $700m-1B.

Investor base is institutional, family office, and UHNW individuals.

They are utilizing a Fund Administrator.

Already an SEC registered advisor

Ad hoc investor requests.

Financial analysis on the business.

Valuation support with the investment team.

Monthly Accounting - Perform review of monthly operating reports for each of the Funds’ real estate investments, budget versus actual variance analysis, and cash flow of the properties.

Quarterly Reporting – Work with the fund administrator and review quarterly reports to investors using the guidelines outlined in the LPA including expenses, allocations and waterfall calculations.

Performance Reporting - Prepare and analyze a variety of Fund level and property level performance returns; report and discuss performance with the CFO, and the Firm’s Executive Team. Work with the CFO on financial projections, financial modeling and sensitivity analyses.

Assist in quarterly valuation process.

Assist in the preparation of SEC compliance reports, ad hoc compliance filings and internal documentation.

Oversee capital calls, distributions and carry calculations for the Funds and various co-investments.

Management company – review and process expenses reports.

Year End Audit and Tax Return Coordination - Interface with fund administrator, auditors and tax return preparers and be responsible for all phases of the annual financial audit, including coordination of audit work papers. Review and file externally prepared annual tax returns.

Interface with operating partners who run the day-to-day operations of each property.

Provide information requested by Fund Administrators, Auditors, Tax Team, Compliance and IT Team.

Help with servicing credit facility and related compliance requests.

Address LPs audit, reporting and diligence requests.

KeysRequirements Keys

5+ years of accounting and finance experience ideally within Real Estate investment, Private Equity, Private Captial Partnerships.

Public accounting is nice to have, but not a requirement

Knowledge of Fund structures and allocation of capital (PE, VC, hedge funds, Debt Funds etc.)

CPA or MBA or progress towards it, nice to have

Plan to Placement

Video meeting with CFO

Case study and review it with CFO

On-site visit to meet CFO and 2-3 team members.
