Description We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity within the industry. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be mainly tasked with processing invoices, preparing checks for payment, and ensuring smooth communication with property management teams and the finance department.Responsibilities: Efficiently process client invoices to prepare for check runs. Handle payment processing, excluding wire transfers, as part of your daily tasks. Follow up with managers to obtain necessary approvals. Utilize Yardi Property Management software for various tasks. Ensure clear communication with property management teams and the finance department. Test basic accounting skills, differentiating debits from credits. Maintain and update customer credit records. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. Requirements A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an accounts payable role. Proficiency in using Yardi Property Management software. Demonstrated experience in check processing. Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in detailed work. Strong understanding of accounting principles. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Good interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and management. Familiarity with general office procedures and protocols. Advanced computer skills, particularly with Excel and other Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
