Need Project Manager(D&A – Data and Analytics, Reporting Platform experience)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: Long Term

As a

Data Analytics Project Manager, you will manage and deliver client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions. You will be responsible for planning and leading the successful execution of the project, doing whatever it takes to deliver value and success. This will include helping to continuously drive the vision for the project, aligning on delivery and technology approach, creation of project plans, review of documentation, interactions, and deliverables, and creating ongoing project status and health reports and facilitating effective communication to client stakeholders. Finally, it will include leading a team of technical and functional team members in achieving these goals.
Responsibilities:
  • The Project Manager will lead data and analytics delivery teams and be the liaison between product ownership, development/implementation teams, and client stakeholders. The individual will demonstrate leadership and flexibility, as well as the ability to build rapport with clients, team members, managers, and senior executives in a consulting context.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their desired outcomes
  • Build and manage the product backlog
  • Ensure projects are on time and on budget
  • Successfully lead Agile projects through their lifecycles to meet defined outcomes
  • Work closely with clients on status, risks, mitigation, and timing
  • Ability to identify data and analytics or partner solutions to meet business problems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Lead product team in discovery, design, implementation, and measurement of new product features
  • Write user stories with detailed requirements and clear acceptance criteria
  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demos, and sprint retrospectives
  • Present during companywide product demos
  • Create strong cross functional relationships
  • Drive release planning activities
  • Ensure quality products are being delivered to customers
  • Lead acceptance testing activities

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Experience working with and leading cross functional business and technical teams that include a mix of in-house and external resources and stakeholders.
  • Experience in change management activities - developing a plan outlining how the project organizational change will be managed.
  • Experience in cost estimating, resource planning, and project time management skills.
  • Experienced in decision making and understanding of project management concepts.
  • Knowledge of IT system concepts and how they impact business processes.
  • Current industry recognized project management accreditation (e.g. PMP, CAMP, Prince2).
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience applying data and analytics knowledge of key design principles, methodologies, tools, and high-level architectures.
  • Familiarity with data and analytics managed packages, integration and reporting, SQL Server Suite (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), Tableau, PowerBI, and exposure to SAAS data management, reporting and analytical tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with audiences from all levels
