Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Data Collector to be a part of our team. This role is crucial in our product development process, located in San Francisco, California. The Data Collector will be primarily involved in testing a mechanical gripping device, providing crucial feedback, and operating autonomously in various locations around San Francisco and South San Francisco. This opportunity offers a long-term contract position. Responsibilities: Testing a mechanical gripping device by lifting household items Providing valuable feedback to the engineering team on the functionality of the device Working independently with minimal communication with the engineering team Travelling between various sites in San Francisco and South San Francisco, requiring the use of a personal vehicle Participating in a two-day training at headquarters before deployment to onsite locations Handling the physical aspect of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting items overhead Operating the device, which includes a camera feature, for data collection purposes Ensuring the careful handling of household items, such as plates and glasses, using the device. Requirements Proficiency in Administrative Assistance: Applicants must have experience in performing administrative tasks such as managing and distributing information, answering phone calls, and maintaining filing systems. Excellent Customer Service Skills: Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to deal with clients effectively and resolve their queries. Experience in Data Entry: Candidates must have a solid background in data entry, including the ability to input, compile, and sort information efficiently. Knowledge in Order Entry: Applicants should have experience in order entry, which involves entering sales and purchase orders, tracking inventory, and managing customer information.
