Description: Client is seeking a talented Engineer who has mix of software testing experience and also has some administration experience in managing Microsoft Exchange. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of testing on Microsoft Exchange environment including some hands-on experience of updating and changes Microsoft Exchange setup details and testing for those changes,
Have working experience in managing the basic setup of exchange on-primise in a large, on-premises, clustered enterprise environment (years)
Engage in administrative tasks such as adding, modifying, and deleting group mailboxes and email accounts
The candidate should be able to work with the engineering team, review test plans and execute the test plans against different config setup in Microsoft Exchange. Work with engg team, debug issues and help triage the bugs.
Knowledgeable in Inbound\Outbound mail flow troubleshooting on all the version of the Exchange server
Experience in testing on Email use cases, debug and log defects.
Work with Engg, PM team, and quality professional in defining and executing test plans, validate features, and complete certification.
Experience in Quality Assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices; hands-on skills with manual testing and test automation tools for functional testing.
The candidate must be able to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced team-driven environment and have the ability to communicate well with cross functional teams.
Candidate should be self-directed, team oriented with a strong ability to work with the cross-functional teams.
Required Skills/Experience:
This position requires someone who is smart, learns quickly, hardworking, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years combined experience exchange admin and software quality testing.
Must have effective oral and written communications skills and the ability to work successfully with others.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills, ability to provide alternatives, root cause analysis, testing skills and ability to make thoughtful proposals are also among the skills required.
Must have practical experience with network, systems and storage management implementation, troubleshooting, change management and root cause analysis.
Desirable if the candidate has hands-on experience with Wintel/Sun/Linux/VMWare platform hardware and software.
