Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, Law, Policy, or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience working with electric utilities, regulators, clean energy advocates, energy policy makers, or other energy industry stakeholders

10 years of experience working regulatory or similar energy policy arena to reform market design to accelerate clean energy adoption

Experience managing teams

Preferred qualifications:

Experience leading national and state efforts to reform market structures

Experience working with the various institutions of government, including experience with state regulatory dockets and regulatory intervention

Understanding of North and South America market structures, regulatory constructs, and policies

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000-$246,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Develop and manage sub-regional market development strategies at the state and regional level to support Google's energy goals.

Manage efforts to further market solutions to Google’s electricity supply needs, including design of regulatory and market engagement strategies as well as implementation tactics.

Manage the cross-functional work with others on Google’s Global Infrastructure, Product, Public Policy, and other teams to develop policy and market positions and communicate to key constituencies.

Manage over all energy-related engagement with public utilities commissions, elected officials, and state and federal agencies.

Develop and manage the implementation of new market, regulatory, and policy solutions to meet Google's energy needs.
