Description:This is a medical assistant role in the fetal & maternal medicine clinic. This role is a back-office medical assisting role where the medical assistant will be rooming patients, taking vitals, working the in-basket for the providers, supporting with small procedures. Helping with procedures and supporting the doctors and sonographers. They will help with Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS), Amniocentesis, Genetic Testing, and Blood work (CA CPT is a plus).In supporting the procedures they will need to maintain sterile technique, prepare samples for lab testing, and documenting all related items in EPIC.
