Involved in all aspects of Funds' operations: accounting, financial reporting, and audit.
Collaborate with Fund Accounting team on 40+ investment funds.
Track and reconcile client tax withholding balances.
Reconcile unfunded partnership commitments and recallable balances.
Prepare and issue Form 1099s.
Act as backup for processing Fund cash transactions, i.e capital calls, Distributions
Reconcile unfunded GP recontribution balances.
Review and summarize fund cryptocurrency exposure.
Perform close of quarterly and annual fund financial statements.
Assist in future transition of in-house fund transaction processing to fund administrator.
Requirements
Qualifications:
4+ years of asset management experience (VC, PE, RE, HF).
Open to candidates with experience in fund administration or another fund.
Tax or audit experience is acceptable, but not the primary preference.
Desired traits include professionalism, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach.
CPA preferred but not required.
