RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, based in San Francisco, CA, is looking for a Lead Product Manager for a long term, contract opportunity. This project will start as a 6-month contract and extends in 6-month increments (based on performance!) through 2021 and likely beyond. This role is looking for a candidate to be local to the Bay Area.
Summary:
In this role, you support a cross functional project between this retail client's ecommerce and supply chain domains. When you are shopping online, depending on your location, and the products in your cart, you are offered different shipping options. This project is related to optimizing this process in an efficient and effective way.
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of technical product management, with project experience in the retail space, related to the supply chain domain, be it core order management, omni channel, order fulfillment, merchandising, or other retail initiatives
Day to day experience with working within an agile environment, working with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, writing user stories, and working with development teams to execute on feature/functionality or enhancements of systems/applications
Excellent knowledge of product management best practices, functional design, and application delivery methodology
Customer focused with high quality standards, must possess strong presentation skills
Possesses solid knowledge of project management methodology
Strategic thinking and analytical skills + creative problem-solving skills - the ability to crystallize a problem and clearly define, analyze, and articulate solutions
Collaborative spirit who can work well with large cross-functional teams
Motivated to learn, high energy level, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communicator; Strong business acumen, experience working with stakeholders, negotiation, etc.
Attention to detail with the tenacity to dig into complex scenarios
