Manage the design, development, integration, and release of identity & authentication services within the Salesforce Identity portfolio of products and services. Ensure ongoing reliability, performance, and scalability

Engage customers, prospects, partners and internal stakeholders to determine market viability, business requirements, technical considerations and strategic objectives

Collaborate with product management, architecture, and engineer peers to help strengthen and innovate a portfolio of identity and authentication services and products

Manage the product roadmap. Make tough tactical prioritization decisions while helping the company think long-term. Build trust with stakeholders through transparency and collaboration

Drive for the best customer experience possible. Work closely with UX and marketing to develop, test, and deliver customer facing assets

Measure success. A feature's release does not dictate success. Define what success means for each feature and each function before it even goes to development. Develop ways to constantly define and monitor success

Communicate clearly and efficiently. Coordinate product release communications for your components. Define expectations for engineering teams and hold them accountable to success and failures. Work closely with Product Marketing Managers to promote your products both internally and externally and ensure a cohesive message

Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, and through community sites and social media

Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and prototypes, and then work with developers and quality engineers to deliver a quality product on time.

Work with Engineering to manage the release process and tightly integrate and balance functionality and feasibility, and managed implementation timeline with a keen understanding of the underlying architecture

Be responsible for the product vision through product delivery, company enablement, and customer/partner adoption

Ensure product and data compliance with global regulations

Experience and Skills:

5+ years of Product Management or similar experience.

Working knowledge of one or more identity protocols such as SAML and OpenID Connect strongly desirable

Top notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations.

Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap.

Strong user experience and design sense, with a record of building great products.

Experience with global security and compliance standards relating to customer data management

Experience managing shared services

Experience identifying and addressing customer needs, building relationships with customers, developing an awareness of relevant services, communicating with customers in an organized and knowledgeable manner, delivering clear requests for information, and resolving potential conflicts

Exceptional critical thinking & analytical skills and the ability to make informed & fast decisions related to product feature design and direction. Demonstrated experience of 'owning' the decision/solution

Ability to engage in detailed technical discussions with engineering and operational teams and making technology related product decisions

Cloud computing experience is a plus. An ideal candidate will also have experience working with Salesforce Identity , APEX/Visual Force, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies

Scrum and agile development experience a plus
