If you seek empowerment, recognition and a diligence to provide superior service, the Omni San Francisco Hotel could be everything you have been looking for.Job DescriptionThe Travel Industry Sales Manager works with Omni’s Global Business Travel Team and the Hotel’s Director of Sales & Marketing and to fully develop and manage the negotiated transient market segment with a focus on our local accounts. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated hospitality sales professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is passionate about interacting with our clients, guests, and associates to strategically elevate the performance and reputation of the hotel. Location: Hybrid. Combination of Work-From-Home and On-Property at the Omni San Francisco Hotel. Responsibilities

Manage the corporate transient and consortia markets with a focus on business development of local accounts

Responsible for total account management of all local negotiated accounts including contracting, account management, and servicing the needs of these local contacts.

Responsible for maintaining relationships with Omni Hotels & Resorts Global Business Travel Team.

Responsible for negotiating, completing and implementing local RFPs jointly with the Complex Business Travel team.

Participate in weekly revenue merchandising meetings, monthly sales meetings, stand up daily and monthly sales meetings as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Responsible for maintaining all Business Travel reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.

Attend monthly All BT conference calls with corporate office.

Qualifications

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Must have at least 2 years of hotel sales experience (BT experience preferred).

Business acumen in relation to ROI, budgeting, forecast analysis, partnership agreement modeling.

Strong analytical and researching skills to identify prospective customers.

Strong presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and re-prioritize when necessary.

Experience in outbound solicitation, site inspections/visits with clients, and contract negotiations.

Strong customer service and rapport building skills.

Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to travel as needed to represent the Hotel.

Must have a flexible schedule to works nights, weekend and holidays as necessary.

Pay Range - $95,000-$115,000. The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience
