Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Web Site Designer in San Francisco, California. This role involves redesigning websites, creating new web content, and advising on website optimization. Working within our team, the Web Site Designer will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and functionality of our websites.Responsibilities: Oversee the redesign of existing websites to enhance their look and functionality Create and implement new content for websites, including images, splash pages, and other visual elements Ensure efficient organization of web content for user-friendly navigation and access Provide advice on the best options for website optimization, including platform choices like Squarespace or WordPress Develop and maintain client document hosting capabilities on websites Educate website owners on how to make updates and edits to their websites moving forward Collaborate closely with other team members to achieve optimal web design outcomes Use Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign effectively in the creation and maintenance of websites Incorporate elements of graphic design, CSS, and e-Commerce applications in web design projects Create and manage digital advertisements and banner ads as needed. Requirements Possession of a bachelor's degree in web design, computer science, or a related field. A minimum of five years' experience in website design. Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. Demonstrated experience in creating advertisements and banner ads. Proficiency in CSS and e-commerce application development. Strong graphic design skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to manage multiple projects while meeting challenging deadlines. Knowledge of web design industry standards and trends. Strong understanding of content management systems. Excellent attention to detail.
