Our services provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/engineering applications and products around application development, process optimization and automation to help drive speed to outcome, deliver business transformation, and build resilience in an uncertain future.As a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for supporting large complex IT systems - these applications are often high-volume mission critical systems and would provide you an exposure to a broad range of technologies across all Cloud and on prem systems. You will work with global functional and technical teams on engagements that leverage a high degree of automation, the latest technologies and cut across support and development work. You will need to understand functional requirements and should be able to support specific technologies, develop technical designs, develop, customize, and test completing the lifecycle from design to ongoing support.Recruiting for this role ends August 15, 2024.Work You'll Do As a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will provide QA guidance, coordinating with offshore and nearshore teams providing guidance and mentoring onsite quality and collaboration. Will be responsible for analyzing and providing metrics for projects. You'll communicate regularly with Engagement Managers, project team members and representatives from various functional and/or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management. You will independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflow, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.The Team Core Technology Operations practitioners work on the design, delivery and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large-scale, ground-up, custom developed applications, to Cloud-based development and integration services as well as customizing industry sector-focused packages. As a member of this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies such as user interface/user experience development, integration services, business rules engine solutions, or Cloud-based services.Qualifications Required

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience;

Experience working with globally distributed technology teams which should include 10+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience managing and delivering large scale systems;

Minimum of two full lifecycle system delivery implementations in a testing role, preferably in as a lead;

At least six years leading testing efforts, including experience with all phases of testing;

At least four years of experience with estimating testing efforts, standing up and structuring testing teams, defining the test strategy for large scale programs and ensuring requirements traceability throughout the system development lifecycle;

Four years' experience in design and implementation of large-scale test automation solutions for cross-technology applications using Cloud-based web and mobile platforms;

Deep understanding of system architecture and experience with test automation for front-end, service layer, and back-end testing and API testing;

Experience implementing automated test frameworks using container-based service schedules (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.);

Experience implementing continuous testing techniques (build, integrate and report) and automation code review process using automated tools;

Experience working in a multi-vendor environment and with third parties;;

A bility to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve;

Industry recognized technology certifications - CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.

Excellent written and communication skills;

Ability to deliver technical demonstrations;

Master's degree

Wages and Salary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $151,800 to $253,000.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, the individual, and organizational performance. Be the point person from the preconstruction phase to the project closeout phase. Properly delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members and ensure entire project team thoroughly understands project. Early identification of long lead items; ensure all project procurement is properly tracked and released conducive to schedule milestones. Set up project budget with assistance from Estimating to work towards buyouts and early recognition of actual realized costs in labor, material, subcontractor, equipment and overhead cost. Understand the difference between lump sum contracts and unit price contracts. Verify budget after upload confirming contract, budget, and billing are accurate in Spectrum. Determine project labor tracking strategy and setup labor codes congruent with required labor tracking. Gather hours from Superintendent and Foreman and verify with project team. Monitor and own the overall procurement and construction schedule and escalate any possible impacts by coordinating with the customer, giving notice as required and maintain documentation for such impacts. Collect feedback from field team to present accurate information for CTCs. Create projection for CTCs and provide to Project Executive for review. Prepare accurate cost projections for each project monthly. Stay actively engaged with labor tracking and weekly look ahead schedules to mitigate any potential impacts to the project schedule or financial status. Oversee timely project requirements and documentation including but not limited to submittals, RFI’s, delay notices, potential claims, and extended overheads. Maximize cash flow by balancing project cost with timing of project income, facilitating buy outs according to the schedule and project plan with estimating and project teams, understanding labor and material trends, creating balanced and accurate budget and Schedule of Values, submitting billings, and negotiating change orders. Proactively assist subcontractors with billings, change orders and negotiations Coach Project Engineers and Sr Project Engineers for successful accomplishment of their own key results
