Opportunity Overview As an Applications Engineer at Nextest in San Jose, CA, you will help customers bring state-of-the-art semiconductor devices into production. You will collaborate with customers to develop test programs to characterize future devices. You will innovate and devise new ways to verify next generation tester hardware and features. Additionally, you will:
Participate in Pre and Post sales Customer support
Support Marketing and Engineering in defining and verification of new products
Create Technical documentation
Participate in Training Program creation and presentation
Create custom programs to satisfy customer needs.

BS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
C/C programming
Completed courses in Digital and Analog circuit design
English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Works well within a team
Ability to commute and work from the Nextest office in San Jose, CA

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $81,800-$131,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
