job detailsWe are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in San Jose. This temp-to-hire position offers $22/hr with an 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule, perfect for someone with inventory control experience who's ready to take on the challenge of supporting our busy logistics operation.As a Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for safely moving, loading, and unloading materials within our facility. You will:
Handle loading/unloading tasks from trucks or containers using a forklift.
Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
Manage inventory by tracking and updating inventory systems, ensuring products are stored correctly.
Perform routine forklift inspections and report maintenance needs to ensure safe operations.
Adhere to safety protocols and keep work areas clean and organized.
Document all product movements and report damages or discrepancies.
Work closely with your team to meet daily production and shipping goals.
