Job Description : Want to work in a fun, collaborative food production facility? Then this job is for you! General Production Associates help this food production facility run smoothly and make awesome product.
Best of all, this facility is looking to convert workers to full-time, which is part of a union! Position Summary : Assist in operation of packaging equipment Inspect product and fills feed trays Assemble boxes and pack product into cases Stack filled cases on pallets for shipping Perform other duties as needed to ensure continuous operation of a product filling + packaging line This position may be rotated on all lines within the production department.
Position Description : Ensure a proper supply of materials for tapers, fillers, box makers, labelers and other packing equipment.
Ensure cup feed trays remain filled. Assemble boxes / cases for packing product(s) as needed. Pack finished product into cases.
Manually stack filled cases in prescribed manner for shipping. Visually inspect product for quality defects and removes defective product.
Maintain company standards for cleanliness, safety and productivity in the plant area. Provide support for the machine operator in maintaining continuous production.
Perform duties on all lines in packaging as necessary. Assist other Utility and Machine Operator positions as needed. Work cooperatively with other members of the packaging line.
Ensure compliance to quality, food safety and HAACP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer and government standards.
Perform other duties / responsibilities as assigned by Management. Requirements : Steel Toed Boots Required No Jewelry or piercings - all piercings must be removed while working Long pants Required Must wear hairnet, earplugs, safety glasses, gloves, mask and smock.
